Kevyn aucoin: if i read Making Faces should i NOT buy the Art of Makeup?

i love his books, and i am currently reading Making faces by kevyn aucoin, so would it be pointless to read the art of makeup?


is there anyone who has read both, and if so, are they different enough that it is worth it?


also, which did you like better?

If you really love make up, then you should get both. Because even if most of the book is the same and you only learn one or two things, then it's worth it. Plus they might explain the same thing but in a better way. And if you love his books, then you should by it anyway.





I haven't read ';Making Faces'; or ';The Art of Make Up'; but I the ';Face Forward'; is really cool!





I've also heard ';Make up your mind'; by Francois Nars (of NARS make up) is really good.
