Don't confuse ';cruelty free'; with vegan - alot of companies don't test but are too lazy to actually create vegan products, but still enjoy capitalizing on the vegan market. PeTA often awards companies for progress rather than vegan status, which is really confusing for vegan consumers.





Email the company, and ask them if it's vegan. Be sure to specify that you mean NO insect or bug material too...

when I was at the lab the other day I saw some lab rats with wet and wild mascara on they looked pretty good so I don't know if they were being used to test it or if they just like wearing it.
Just because it says its not tested on animals dosn't mean its not made from animal.
I'm sure an ingrediant in the make up has been tested on animals at one time or another but they don't taste their products on animals, or so they say.
If you ask them if it is vegan and they come up with products they say are vegan they might still have insects in them... it really doesn't make sense when they say that they are cruelty free when it still has animal ingredients... also if they say their finished product doesn't test on animals they still might test the ingredients on animals just not the finished product. it is best to use an animal ingredient list. i hope i helped!
Wet n Wild cosmetics are cruelty free. It is on the PETA's Caring Consumer list of companies that do not test on animals. So enjoy!
