Wet n Wild Cosmetics are generally cheap. (It doesn't have many great quality products) You can buy it at any drugstore or shopping center. A lot of drugstores have buy one get one free (Or half off) sales on Wet n Wild products, depending on where you live. As for online, you can buy this brand from their website.

Wet and wild ultimate match or ';covergirl clean makeup';?
I dont ant to spend alot of money...and I had been uing loreal true match and LOVED it ..but it messed up my skin....will either of these work as well?Wet and wild ultimate match or ';covergirl clean makeup';?
ALMAY has good foundations that match to your skin - it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. Also - MaxFactor works well too - good coverage.
A little bit on the pricey side - but AVEDA has an awesome tinted moisturizer.

okay. well i have this makeup idea but idk what you guys would think about it.

The translucent powder is also okay, but not my favorite. Go with CoverGirl for foundation, concealer, and powder. Still inexpensive, but better quality. But for the fun ';experimenting with colors'; stuff (eye makeup, blush, lipstick, etc,) Wet N Wild is perfect. Plus if you hate it or get sick of it after a month, you won't feel bad about throwing it away because it only cost a few dollars.

i actually like wet n' wild. i have worked in a department store and have used mac, clinique, lancome ... nars ... everything. these eyeshadows aren't bad at all. the pigment does show up on your skin, though it's not bold. i haven't used any of their other products tho. i actually splurge on my makeup bases and powders and cleansing products.
i don't know if jane animal tests, but they are a really good drugstore brand. i think clinique owns them and they are made at the same factory. i love their pencil eyeliners; they glide on and last forever, and they have some really nice mineral blushes that i think are talc free. they blend really well with a lot of different types of makeup.
i actually don't like revlon, cover girl, maybelline. i do like l'oreal for lip gloss; their juicy tubes are great. maybelline mascara is ok though. i prefer clinique's mascara, i forget the name of the specific one but it is in an olive green sparkly tube i think. it's high definition i think?
bonne bell has great lip gloss that gives you color and tastes good. i don't think they animal test.
physicians formula has a talc free mineral powder, and it's at drugstores. it looks really nice, and they're organic but i don't know about animal testing. i haven't tried them but i may for a cheaper compact for my purse because i'm impressed with the fact that their powder has spf 15(i think) and is talc free. i just spotted these yesterday so i'm going to have to go back and investigate. they had some nice true to life colors.
you can have nice makeup at any price. some things work, some don't. just because it's department store doesn't mean it's the only way to go. now i would stay away from those holiday makeup kits with all the colors; those are super cheap and they do not work at all.
but wet n' wild is so cheap, buy a few pallets and try for yourself. egyptian sands and paradise cove are really nice.
have fun! don't get trapped into thinking you HAVE to have dior, chanel, nars, etc. drugstore has good finds, though i would recommend reading reviews online before purchasing a product since you can't test it in the store.

try physicians formula I love there mineral wear talc free loose powder (it s a mineral foundation and its on sale at walgreens for 6 bucks) there stuff is really dood and you can get it in pharmacys and places like target and walmart for under 10 bucks.

i actually like wet n' wild. i have worked in a department store and have used mac, clinique, lancome ... nars ... everything. these eyeshadows aren't bad at all. the pigment does show up on your skin, though it's not bold. i haven't used any of their other products tho. i actually splurge on my makeup bases and powders and cleansing products.
i don't know if jane animal tests, but they are a really good drugstore brand. i think clinique owns them and they are made at the same factory. i love their pencil eyeliners; they glide on and last forever, and they have some really nice mineral blushes that i think are talc free. they blend really well with a lot of different types of makeup.
i actually don't like revlon, cover girl, maybelline. i do like l'oreal for lip gloss; their juicy tubes are great. maybelline mascara is ok though. i prefer clinique's mascara, i forget the name of the specific one but it is in an olive green sparkly tube i think. it's high definition i think?
bonne bell has great lip gloss that gives you color and tastes good. i don't think they animal test.
physicians formula has a talc free mineral powder, and it's at drugstores. it looks really nice, and they're organic but i don't know about animal testing. i haven't tried them but i may for a cheaper compact for my purse because i'm impressed with the fact that their powder has spf 15(i think) and is talc free. i just spotted these yesterday so i'm going to have to go back and investigate. they had some nice true to life colors.
you can have nice makeup at any price. some things work, some don't. just because it's department store doesn't mean it's the only way to go. now i would stay away from those holiday makeup kits with all the colors; those are super cheap and they do not work at all.
but wet n' wild is so cheap, buy a few pallets and try for yourself. egyptian sands and paradise cove are really nice.
have fun! don't get trapped into thinking you HAVE to have dior, chanel, nars, etc. drugstore has good finds, though i would recommend reading reviews online before purchasing a product since you can't test it in the store.

I'd say go for Revlon or Avon. I've tried Wet n Wild stuff before and it sucks. It's only really good for lipstick/lipgloss and nail polish.
try physicians formula I love there mineral wear talc free loose powder (it s a mineral foundation and its on sale at walgreens for 6 bucks) there stuff is really dood and you can get it in pharmacys and places like target and walmart for under 10 bucks.

I have to agree that the first isn't that great. It could easily look more polished if you worked on applying your makeup a little better - so blending more, diffusing things better, you know? Although definitely not bad, I just suggest working on applying a little more. As for it not being okay for your skin tone, I have fair skin and I wear any colour I can get, and play around with more natural looks and more colourful looks. As long as you can properly apply the makeup, skin tone shouldn't at all play a role in it.
Anyways, my 2 top websites for ideas when I am looking for inspiration is doe deere blogazine and temptalia. Girls on youtube also have some good tutorials. Links are down there if you want to check them out :)
OH and for brands, I basically use any brand, from drug store to sephora. My ';secret'; is using Urban Decay's Primer Potion (about 20 some dollars, but it lasts a good 6-8 months of almost daily use) and when it dries, I apply a THIN layer of cream shadow that isn't too pigmented, and then apply my shadow from there. So if I am using say, 2 colours for all over lid, I will apply both colours and then blend them together more if they are a bit blotchy still. My main brands however are Micabella, L'Oreal, and i find Cover Girl ones have decent pigmentation. I also use Annabelle, but it's only canadian. I actually basically use whatever I find that I think is an interesting colour, unless it's something like. REALLY cheap, like 2 bucks.

This is usualy just regular ole' mary Kay. You should go to a Sally's beauty supply because the makeup is cheaper and you get more color selections. Try avon catalogues as well. Mostly, you learn by doing. Get the picture of what you want and tape it to the mirror. Then copy it one day when you have nothign else to do. You're going to to want some bright colors of eye makeup, some eye liner - liquid. this will take some practice and a steady hand. Also, some deep red and black lipstick. Put your cheek color under your cheek bone, not over it. Also, find a good, solid base and powder. You want to look as pale as possible and you do this by contrasting light base, with deeper tones of cheek color.
Finally, an eyeliner (kohl black) will be very helpful. You can use it as a lip liner (with red or black lipstick) and also to color any beauty marks you might have. Find your inspiration not just from goth pictures, but also from the twenties (those chick could put on some paint) and from the sixties and early severties when things like doe eyes (an eyeliner trick) were developed. If cost is no object, Mac, Urban Decay, Makeup Forever are great with their collection of vibrant and durable wearing colors and they can be purchased at major department stores or Sephora. Larenim is an online mineral makeup company that has some great stuff as well. For a cheaper option, try the HIP pigments by L'oreal at your local drugstore or Fyrinnae although that can only be purchased online.
Go to youtube and search for ';dramatic eye makeup';. I'm sure you'll find plenty of video tutorials on how to apply the makeup. Otherwise, it's rather hard to describe if you have no idea at all about how to apply eye makeup.
You'll need a good set of makeup brushes. Mac makes some nice brushes but they are also very expensive. Sephora brand brushes are pretty nice and less expensive than Mac but still a little pricey. Coastal Scents, another online company, offers lots of good and inexpensive brushes. At the very least, you'll need a powder brush, a blush brush, a eyeliner brush, a couple of shadow brushes with different size heads. Okay so theres this new product line in wal mart now, or it least i've just noticed it. Its relly cheap but i dont know if its good, i normally use like revlon, l'orel, or cover girl but i dont know if wet n' wild is a good brand, i mean its really really really cheap tho but is it good, i mean like i've only tried the eyeliner but it kind of smells like cheap makeup i want to know about the foundation, eyeshadow, and conceler though does anyone know if its good? does it like mess up your skin?Wet n' Wild makeup....?

As a rule while you can save a some money on your nail polish or possibly on your eyeshadow but with due diligence, I would never recommend that you use cheap foundation or concealer. Using good quality foundation and concealer you can ensure, well for at least an extended period, that these won't fade as easily and won't make you breakout. So stick to the brands tyhat you say you already use: revlon, l'oreal and covergirl.
However if you want to save some money on eyeshadows, etc. try NYX. This is a good brand and the pigment in the eyeshadow lasts. You can check out this site and see if you like it: http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/

Is My Makeup TOO Wild? I Don't go for the natural look, but i dont want to look like a total CLOWN either.
-I wear concealor and i blend it very well
-I wear a bit of bare mineral powder to even out my skintone
-I wear a bit of black eyeliner, but not all around my eye!
-I wear CLEAR lipgloss/chapstick
-I wear fake lashes, but they are 100% natural looking and not too long whatsoever
-I wear a medium shade of pink-wine eyeshadow to make my eyes pop
-and I wear ONE SWEEP of bare mineral warmth on my cheekbones...looks natural.

not at all...it doesnt matter how much makeup you wear...as long as you go for the natural look then you wont look like a clown. i wear false eyelashes all the time cuz i used to wear waterproof mascara and its hard to come off
I totally understand your dilemma. I'm an old school 80's girl, so, like, my makeup is way too loud and my hair is like, totally huge. Trying to look natural is totally unnatural to me, so I've tried to tone it down but usually end up looking like I've been dead for two days. (I need some color.) I watch ';What Not to Wear'; on TLC and I'm always amazed at their makeup artist, Carmindy, because she has the clean, fresh look down pat. Check out some of her techniques at TLC's website or at www.carmindy.com. I really like how she makes everyone look so sparkly yet socially acceptable. doesnt sound like too much to me. you dont even wear foundation... i wear eyeliner around my eye, eyeshadow various shades depends on my mood, colored lipgloss, mascara, very light blush. its not about how much its how you blend it.

it doesnt seem too wild at all. Bareminerals is so good too. it really evens out your skin tone. you probally should get more focuss to your eyes and/or lips to give it a prettier look.

-I wear a bit of bare mineral powder to even out my skintone
-I wear a bit of black eyeliner, but not all around my eye!
-I wear CLEAR lipgloss/chapstick
-I wear fake lashes, but they are 100% natural looking and not too long whatsoever
-I wear a medium shade of pink-wine eyeshadow to make my eyes pop
-and I wear ONE SWEEP of bare mineral warmth on my cheekbones...looks natural.

not at all...it doesnt matter how much makeup you wear...as long as you go for the natural look then you wont look like a clown. i wear false eyelashes all the time cuz i used to wear waterproof mascara and its hard to come off
I totally understand your dilemma. I'm an old school 80's girl, so, like, my makeup is way too loud and my hair is like, totally huge. Trying to look natural is totally unnatural to me, so I've tried to tone it down but usually end up looking like I've been dead for two days. (I need some color.) I watch ';What Not to Wear'; on TLC and I'm always amazed at their makeup artist, Carmindy, because she has the clean, fresh look down pat. Check out some of her techniques at TLC's website or at www.carmindy.com. I really like how she makes everyone look so sparkly yet socially acceptable. I hope if I keep practicing I'll get it right someday. LOL! Good luck!!!
doesnt sound like too much to me. you dont even wear foundation... i wear eyeliner around my eye, eyeshadow various shades depends on my mood, colored lipgloss, mascara, very light blush. its not about how much its how you blend it.

well some girl i know always takes eyeliner and like draws really cool designs around her eyes..like she outlines her eyes in eyeliner then like makes swirly lines nd stuff from the corner of her eye to her hairline..it's really cool looking!!..hope i helped! :)

It depends what type of makeup. I don't think I would ever try a concealer or powder makeup from Wet N Wild. I like brands that are more well-known and a little more expensive, like CoverGirl or Revlon. Sometimes I use more expensive brands, like Benefit. However, I would use something like eyeshadow or blush from Wet N Wild because for me, I don't feel like eyeshadow really has to be high quality (or super expensive) to stay on for a few hours.
However, I do use Wet n Wild nail polish. Their black nail polish is one of the best I've ever used. It's hard to find a really good black nail polish that is really black and not streaky or see through.Do you like Wet n' wild makeup?
I like Wet n Wild's Ultimate Expressions e/s palettes. They are awesome. I honestly haven't trued anything other than their eye shadows and before I bought it, I did my research and found a lot of people use it. Now granted you're not going to get the same level of product as MAC or L'Oreal (My personal FAV) but, as most people have probably responded, you get what you pay for. But personally, I think this is a great brand. You just can't put your faith into every product they sell. But the eyeshadow palettes get a good rating from me. Try L'Oreal, Jesse's Girl (Sold at Rite Aid) and of course MAC. You'll love either of these brands. Hope I helped ;-)

when I was at the lab the other day I saw some lab rats with wet and wild mascara on they looked pretty good so I don't know if they were being used to test it or if they just like wearing it.
Just because it says its not tested on animals dosn't mean its not made from animal.
I'm sure an ingrediant in the make up has been tested on animals at one time or another but they don't taste their products on animals, or so they say.
If you ask them if it is vegan and they come up with products they say are vegan they might still have insects in them... it really doesn't make sense when they say that they are cruelty free when it still has animal ingredients... also if they say their finished product doesn't test on animals they still might test the ingredients on animals just not the finished product. it is best to use an animal ingredient list. i hope i helped!

For a natural look, first of all lay off the foundation, you seem too wrong and it can really mess up your skin, if you REALLY need coverage, use a tinted moisturizer, it looks a lot more natural. Neutrogena is a really good drugstore brand for younger people, especially since you need something that won't block your pores and make you break out. A good tinted moisturizer is Neutrogena Healthy Skin Glow Sheers, a more expensive one is Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer. Skip the powder all together, you don't need it. For the circles under your eyes, a concealer can work wonders, I use one by MAC, but if that is too expensive, once again, Neutrogena. I think it's called 3-in-1 concealer for eyes. Next, mascara, you can use a nonclear mascara, once again by Neutrogena, because it looks really natural and not made up at all. I use Weightless Volume mascara b because it doesn't clump at all, you could also use Lash Tint. Finally for the eyeshadow, you can really make a sophisticated look without any eyeliner at all, just buy 3 corresponding shades of shadow (The best is a light brown, medium bronze, and a darker brown)...use the light over your whole lid and up to your brow, then the bronze in the crease and the dark one, use a slanted brush and use THAT as a liner, blending it into the rest. Coz ur eyes are blue, i'd stick to using blue or brown. You said u had bags under ur eyes, try using a concealer or foundation %26amp; just dab some under ur eyes!
For ur eyes, put a natural colour over the whole eye, lashes to brow- a gold/cream. Coz u dont have eyeliner, use a brush which a steady edge %26amp;get some shadow on it, %26amp; use that as eyeliner. Use a brown for that. Then sweep some blue on 1/3 of ur eyelid starting from the outer edge. Pop some mascara on!
Your Mother is wise. Dont go anywhere looking line a clown or ****. Get a foundation a couple of shades lighter to cover the bags under the eyes and blend well, if you wear glasses you can go a little heavier on the eye makeup.
Less is definelty more. In my sophmore year of hs I went overboard, and everyone talked about me behind my back, not to mention i was the ';new girl';. Just listen to your mothers wise words, now all I use is a coffee scented lip gloss, and some powder to get rid of shine, only on special occasions i use eye liner. But natural beauty is the best way to go!! Good Luck =)

It is an art if you're really into it. So if you're into it as showing your art, try to explain that to your mom. My sister is a makeup artists and comes up with some crazy stuff. But yeah, just show your mom that you are not going to go all out looking like a dark goth child.
Ask your mom if you can use eye bright by benefit. It works really well on dark circles and looks really natural. In fact most of the benefit line is very natural.

I personally don't really think Wet 'n Wild makeup is good because their products such as eyeshadow, don't stay on for very long. I think if you prime your eyelids than it could stay on a bit longer. Um, their lip glosses are nice, I like the shades they have to offer. Also, keep in mind that the amount of money you are paying for these products is equal to the quality of the ingredients used to make this product, which means that you really should be careful what you put on your face especially if you breakout easily. Also, remember to always wear SPF. I hope this helped you out a lot. I personally like to use Bare Minerals Foundation because it's ingredients are so pure 'you could sleep in it'.

not that i have it.. but this year i forgot it was picture day so i come to school no makeup at all and i borrowed the mascara from my friend.
it worked pretty good actually lol kinda saved me there for a sec.
it smelled pretty bad but i mean who smells your eyelashes lol.
so yeahh thats all i know on their make up.
also i have 1 of their nail polishes i dont realy use it cuz its all broken but it want really that good it chipped pretty quick.
oh yes and i have the mega plumper from wt 'n wild.
i really like how it feels on your lips and it looks really nice
but it comes off super quick. i re apply it alot but it smells super bad so i barely use it anymore.

Im looking for a liquid concealer by Wet n Wild that I used to buy at Target but yesterday when I went to buy it they didnt have any of the wet n wild makeup..and neither did walmart.

you can find these at rite aid and against the stereotype these are rated up there with mac makeup...
they have some pretty wild makeup at cvs or riteaid. there is the really cheap section with wet %26amp;%26amp; wild, and I'm a modern prep but I bought these really cute liqiud eyeshadow palletes and they are in metallics. im pretty sure they also have colored mascaras, and i know cvs has lipgloses on brand for under $$10.
pacsun is the place to go for clothes (that and hotopic for your style) but dont go offbrand for jeans because they dont fit right. hollister has cute skiny skinny jeans in dark and gray washes.
shoes....classy?? or tennis are both really cute with skinny jeans. try buckled flats for a classy scene look and for tennishoes...flat non running shoes from puma or nike. soooo cute.

they have some pretty wild makeup at cvs or riteaid. there is the really cheap section with wet %26amp;%26amp; wild, and I'm a modern prep but I bought these really cute liqiud eyeshadow palletes and they are in metallics. im pretty sure they also have colored mascaras, and i know cvs has lipgloses on brand for under $$10.
pacsun is the place to go for clothes (that and hotopic for your style) but dont go offbrand for jeans because they dont fit right. hollister has cute skiny skinny jeans in dark and gray washes.
shoes....classy?? or tennis are both really cute with skinny jeans. try buckled flats for a classy scene look and for tennishoes...flat non running shoes from puma or nike. soooo cute.

I saw a beautiful one in a magazine too her eyes were done like a leopard gorgeous but that would be more for the bright lights of walking down a cat walk or magazine shoot to sell there line of makeup every day wear certainly not but there are times it can be fun.
for instance i too have the sparkly liquid liner black , green gold and silver each in there own tube. But i would wear this more for fun in the evening going out to a party or around xmas time. not for day wear so much.
Blue mascara can look nice if put together nicely with the eye shadow and not so many coats on it then become trashy and vampy looking.
Hot pink again not a day wear thing. maybe a nightclub when your dressing up looking for a wilder look same with the silver glittery shadows and eye liner at that time.
in my opinion, i feel that bright and crazy eye makeup is for the runway mainly to exaggerate the clothes and make them stand out more on the runway. but i also feel that sometimes u can wear wild eye makeup 2 the club. it just depends really where ur going whether 2 wear it crazy or not.
I love it if you can pull it off. I have a friend who can where that anywhere, cuz she dresses really fashionable, but i could never wear it. So if it's a party then go for it. Experiment and have fun with it!

I think that it should be for certain occasions for parties for anyone even a model. If you're a model you have to be able to wear anything. Even if you're wearing a birdnest you have to make it look good. Also I think confidence is key too. Even if you're wearing it at the right time. So its ok, at parties.

I'm making a magazine that needs unique makeup styles and stuff. Except, the problem is I can't find a department store of drug store with makeup unique enough. the obvious fake eyelashes are a biggie.
but if you ignore that shes really just wearing aburn eyeliner on her bottom lid and a thin dark bronzer coloured eyeshadow applied over top the liner(on the bottom lid)
black liquid liner in the end corners of the top of her eyes.
and mascara on the bottom and top!
keep the corners of your eyes closest to your nose clean of the outline for a wide eye look.

Use a charcoal eyeliner, but blend it n so it's not a sharp line. It doesn't look like she has any eyeshadow on. Black Mascara, and curl your eyelashes so they stand out :)

Use a charcoal eyeliner, but blend it n so it's not a sharp line. It doesn't look like she has any eyeshadow on. Black Mascara, and curl your eyelashes so they stand out :)

The sun comes out, kids behave, dog stops barking, husband loves wife or vice-versa, and everything becomes a Stepford home when they use this product, even if it's a feather duster or car wax.

You sound like a mature individual who wants to get more out of reading- so my suggestion to you is to read a different series of magazines; or maybe even some human interest stories? There are all kinds of magazines out there for things that interest you- music, dance, art, science, whatever your interest(s) may be they will probably have one. I'm glad that you aren't as shallow and vain as many of the other teenage girls out there today- who needs those pretentious girly magazines anyways? There's a whole world of intellectual magazines out there that are just waiting to be read.
* I am very glad that you don't condone the deterioration of the intelligence of our future generation through these magazines. They teach us how to care less about important things, and care more about superficial things that wont even matter 10 years from now.

Also, they are generally, for some reason, considered prettier that brown eyes, so companies want their models to look the best they can.WHY DO ALL MAKEUP ADS FEATURE MODELS WITH LIGHT COLORED EYES!?!?
Blue eyes are considered the most beautiful/desired eye color (in general, so no one attack me going BUT BROWN IS BEAUTIFUL TOO :[ please.)
Also, it creates more of a contrast. I mean, what stands out more - dark mascara on blue eyes or brown eyes? Dark eyeliner on blue eyes or brown eyes? Yup, the blue eyes.
Many of these models actually don't have blue eyes, contacts or editing may have been used.
To make them look unique and beautiful, and since you want to be unique and beautiful, you want to buy the product. It's all psychology. Since brown is ';normal';, they don't want to show you that you will look ';normal';, they want to show you that, with their product, you can look ';unique';.

This in my meager dim witted opinion is not a contradiction .
I think there are better more substantive questions out there and Snappy i thinik you asked some of those substantive questions before . This question i apoligize is not one of them .
If the products in question had been tested on men, I'd be yelling 'hypocrites' and bombarding them with DOS attacks.
I would find that to definitely be a contradiction...
Granted, every woman has the freedom to CHOOSE whether or not to wear makeup...but how many women actually choose to wear it because they WANT to, and how many do it because they feel they are obligated to do so by society? However this is ultimately a problem that women have created for themselves...there's no blaming men here. It's up to us to choose to stop wearing makeup and encourage other young girls to do the same. As of right now, women who don't wear makeup are at a disadvantage in the relationship market because men naturally prefer women wearing makeup, because it makes them look prettier. So it's only when women as a group realize the foolishness of spending so much time each day painting our faces that we'll be able to escape.
I wouldn't care. In fact, Bust (my favorite feminist magazine) has ads from makeup companies. They're usually eco/animal-friendly makeup companies so I think it's nice.
Wearing make-up isn't anti-feminist. Being anti-make up is such a 2nd wave feminist move. Most 3rd wave/postmodern feminist I know love make up. I'm as feminist as the next person and I love make up! So much fun!
Who cares??? Children are starving in this country. That's important; makeup is not.
